fuel filter location

Post by Gerry »

Should I mount my inline fuel filter before or after my fuel pump?
Thanks,
Gerry

I personally installed a cheap NAPA 3011 inline fuel filter before my fuel pump; my thought being I would keep as much crap out of the pump as possible...don't know if it matters but this was my idea!

The place I thought worked best was on the fuel line right along the frame, below the distributor. Easy to access

with the m37 being so overbuild I went overkill with my filters. i have one at the carb just after the reg, one in the 24v pump and one between the pump and tank.

in the stock config the filter is before the pump.
