How do you change the windshild glass in the M37?

Post by philin mt »

I have removed the 2 interframes from the main frame and removed the wiper motor and the 2 bolts and nuts in the unper couners. I can not get anything to move or wigle, do want to get riugh with it. There is not a lot of rust it just seams to be stuck any tricks ? thanks Phil

You are on the right track, the top piece of the frame slides off at the corners, the glass is then free to slide up & out of the frame. Rust just has it stuck most likely. If you are changing the glass anyway, the easiest solution is to break it & then remove the pieces that are left along with the weatherseal. Thoroughly clean & paint the frame, install a new weatherseal & glass.
