This is an airforce truck that is in darn good shape, other than the wiring and now distinct lack of any brakes.

Trust me, I avoid the oc nowadays. That stuff really hurts, a lot.

So I found out why the e-brake doesn't work, the bolt for the driver's side mount is missing. Does anyone know the length, diameter and thread pitch for it off hand? The lining looks meaty enough. I also found that engaging the front hubs, shifting into 4h, and clutching after coasting pretty much stops me in the same distance as the drums did when they worked 2 years ago.

And engaging the ebrake fragged the transfer case. Frell
