Funky Fuel Pump Bolts Needed.....

Post by w30bob »

Hi Guys,

Well......another thing I didn't know (because my M didn't have it's original fuel pump on it when I bought it) was that the correct fuel pump was held on with those 2 funky looking extended shoulder bolts (see pic below). So.....if anyone has any extras of these can you sell me a set or two (now that I purchased my second M I'm eating for two, so to speak). My zip is 20634, so if you have 'em and are willing to part with them...........just PM me with the total cost including shipping and we'll go from there. :D

thanks,
bob

Your pump looks stock to me, but the shoulder bolts are new to me? I really have no reference as my engine is 10 years older (1942/43) WC engine with different carb and pump.

Hi Bruce,
The extended bolts are proper. They make installing the pump a breeze!

That would explain my exhaustive install, I guess I need to find a set of these?
Anybody have a source for these?

Bruce,

Like I posted earlier, John Bizal @ Midwest Military had them when I called him.
