Good post Charles. I tend to think that anybody over 40 has the same frustration with a lot of things mechanically related. And I thougt it was just me.
I'm under 40 and I have the same issue with people who only look to the computer for help and won't pull the actual manual because it's to "old" or some such.
Anyways, my question with the pumps is this: I'm pretty sure the one that was on mine was deleted, and I got a civilian replacement for now, what size/ length bolts am I going to need?
Charles would you please post the correct dimensions ( OD & ID ) of the backup plates so I we can have this reference to insure the right pieces are with the kits when we order and not end up going through all of the labor pains that have been endured with Tuko.

Tuko thank yo for that pic, definitely helped me with my bolt selection from Autozone. Add the civy style pump today, the truck runs like a champ and stops like the old dreadnaughts...(not all).

The OD of the back up plate on the new fuel side diaphragms we have in stock is 2.250"
