newbie with a M152cdn
Just wanted to say hello. I just picked up a 1954 M152cdn that was bound for the scrapper. I heard about a guy who had a couple deuces so I went and checked them out. They were not for sale but he then tells me he wants to get rid of this old ambulance. I looked it over wrote down some info and did some research. I soon realized the rarity of this truck and knew what I had to do. We made a deal and on Friday it came to the house. Its body is kinda rough but it looks to be complete. I was told it might be locked up but I think it s probebly just from sitting. I got the marvel mystery oil in the cylinders so im going to let that work for awhile.Been into deuces for awhile so this will be all new. I have pics just not sure how to post them yet.

I live in NJ as well. The running joke in NJ is to ask which exit of the NJ Turnpike you live close to.

18 would be the closest exit to me by Giants Stadium.
Re: newbie with a M152cdn
Ok, I am near exit 1 at the other end of the state.

Children are even more help, usually the younger, the better! I use webshots, other hosting sites like flicker and others, to many to mention work just fine.

Here's a drawing of my passenger side mirror bracket holder as an example. I think the thickness is 3/8"?

Re: newbie with a M152cdn
Well I got a chance to work on the 152 today. I pulled all the plugs and put marvel mystery oil down the cylinders last weekend but I was unable to free the motor. So since I had the radiator pulled already I decided to pull the head and just get into it and see whats up. I didnt get a chance to finish it because I had to go out but plan on getting it off tomorrow.
