Hi
I have been donated a tow hitch )thanks again Joe, a true gent) for my M37 that needs some work. I did know this hence the donation.
Basically the nut that holds the rating attachement to the pintle has some issues with the thread. My first remedy will be to try a tap and die nut. So the question is does anyone know the size and type of thread?

Re: Size & thread: M37 Tow Hitch
That's what happens when having to use a sledge hammer to remove the pintle from the truck. My bad for not putting the nut on and smacking it that way. I'm glad it finially got to you Paul.
M37s are HMMWV in my world!

Paul, Are we talking about the "Castellated Nut" or one of the four that hold the pad of the swivel?
