tranny weep hole?

Is there a weep hole to show oil level for the tranny? Looks to be a plug just above the plate on the right side of the tranny.

There is a 1/2" square recessed headed plug on the transmission's side used to fill and check lube level.

I think the fill is located on the left side?

i was thinking the 1/2" on the the right side ?
