Zenith Carb Woes

Post by m-37Bruce »

Well my carb is back from the rebuilder, looks great, but he couldn't fix my governor butterfly, the bronze bushing is worn badly, lots of wobble in it. Any body got any ideas? I'll also try and add a link to a video?

Hey old buddy, have you checked McMaster-Carr for one? Measure the old one and the shaft and see what you can find that fits.

I was hoping to avoid taking it apart, it does have a pin through it, it's so tiny!
Thanks Carter,

I found a complete Throttle Body with the correct fittings, I just need to figure out the correct way to attach the governor, first thing tomorrow!

Now I'm worrying about removing my Governor and installing it on the Throttle Body? John said it was three screws, but didn't say which one's!
