2012 Nationals

Post by refit1701 »

Anyone coming to Huntsville for the nationals? Our club is the host and it'd be nice to meet some fellow 37 owners.

Sorry Refit-too far for me but I'll be at Portland next year (hopefully with my M37)!

Refit,

You've got me at least thinking about it now. I just Checked the map and its only about 90 miles for me. I've never really looked into the MVPA. How would you describe most members' sentiments toward significantly Modified Trucks?

In our local club, we are live and let live. There are several members with modified M37's in the Southeast. You are always going to have your jeep snobs (WWII) who don't like anything but jeeps.

But there will be a great swap meet and everyone is generally friendly.

Make the trip, Brett! It'll be worth your while and the camaraderie will be great, too!

I may be making the trip. There are some parts that I'm interested in getting down by Atlanta, so I figure make the trip worthwhile and accomplish a few things . It all depends on whats going on at work.

I was reminded today that the show will be opened to the general public on Saturday. I don't know if that effects any of you guys who might come but I didn't want anyone showing up Thursday or Friday and maybe not be able to get in.

John,
Look at page 40 in the February/March issue of Supply Line magazine. It says "preregistration is for MVPA members and guests. Non- members are welcome to attend the entire event and can register at the door for the above fees"' Did they change the rules since then?

I'm coming up Thursday just for the day, wish I had more time.

That is odd. You wouldn't believe the confusion surrouding this one topic. I'll have to call the MVPA to be sure as half our club thinks it's Saturday only for the public, which did sound odd to me. Thanks for pointing that out.

Me and a friend, also a M37 owner, are traveling down Thursday so we will have all day there Friday. We are traveling back to Indiana on Saturday.

Do you guys have a table or somewhere you'll be?
