Howdy Boys,
Speaking of fuel pumps.......I thought I read somewhere that the diaphragms in the M37 fuel pumps don't handle Ethanol very well. Does someone make a diaphragm that is more compatible with today's fuels or are the bad diaphragms just a myth?
thanks,
bob

Re: Fuel Pump Diaphragm for E10
From what I've heard, Then and Now Automotive in MA makes the best fuel pump rebuild kits currently available. There diaphrams are ethanol resistant, but the big problem is, we're on our third variation of ethanol. Just when they get it figured out, the gas companies change the formula again.

Warren D,
I rebuilt my fuel pump using a kit from Then & Now, that was in 2007. It has lasted
5 years so far, no problem. The last 2 years though I have been running Ethanol free fuel.
I found my local station on this web site pure-gas.org .
