Jack? What jack?

Post by w30bob »

Hi Guys,

In my attempt to get up to speed on this stuff I noticed that in the Production Changes section it says the hydraulic jack was replaced by a mechanical jack. I've never seen either. Can anyone share a pic of the hydraulic jack? Where was it kept on the truck? Are they hard to find or are they like hen's teeth?

thanks,
bob

Ditto Carter-I got a 2 or 3 ton Craftsman bottle jack that fits in the side cargo box.

personally I prefer the mechanical type. they telescope by themselves, you can control it withouth getting on the ground, and can be used horizontialy as an emergency porta power.
