Well it seems like forever but we're finally signing off on our first home! In preparation for the move, i loaded up the M with the majority of spare parts, tires, tools, P.O.L. etc. and cleaned out the single-car garage. I also loaded my spare transfer case by hand, by myself, and I want to tell everyone not to be so damn dumb-I only sprained a thumb but thought I broke one, hefting that 200lb + anchor onto my tailgate.
Anyway, I'll post a picture once I get the M in it's new two-car (truck?) cave....

Congrats on the new home ..... but I hate to tell you that the 2 car garage is going to get too small in a short amount of time
My next new place is going to have to have a 40x60 but that also will get too small

Thanks guys! We got the keys, swapped the locks and started painting today-great views and we also got to watch about 3 inches of snow fall--fun time ahead!

Congratulations Gary.....There's nothing like having your own place, You can now be free to achieve whatever you want to in life and have the room to do it
Owning your own home is a good thing which gives you the feeling of being part of the community and having made a wise investment, post a shot of it when you have time.

Congrats on the new digs! I can relate to lifting a T-case by hand by yourself. Then again, it wasn't as bad as the complete front axle (minus the drums IIRC) loaded by hand into the back of a pick-up . Don't want to make a habit out of doing that...

Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups
Gary,
Congrats on your new home. Be very careful how you treat your back, twenty years ago I lifted up the rear of a garden tractor and shoved it up onto a small tilt trailer, the next day I could not even make it to the bathroom without crawling on my hands and knees, my L5 disk in my lower back has been causing me on and off grief ever since, it was very scary, it was just after moving into my new house! Take care and enjoy the new adventure.
