Heater diverter box help

Post by sunsetoutpost2 »

I am installing the standard defroster and heater diverter box. It seems that there will be a clearance problem with the hose exiting from the top of the diverter box and the cowl vent screen. The instructions don't mention any clearance issues. What has anyone else done?

I haven't installed mine yet so I don't have an answer for you, but I'm subscribing to this so that I know how to address the issue when I get to that point.

When I had mine mounted, there wasn't a clearance issue that I recall. I'm remember it was tight under there but no clearance problems. But, it has been a couple of years since I took it out so maybe I just don't remember though I tend to remember that kind of stuff.
