WTB Com Shelter/equipment shelter, any leads?

Post by creinemann »

I am thinking of a new project, I'd like to find a commo/radio/equipment shelter for my M101 trailer, and convert it into a camper/sleeper for events I go to, and I am considering doing the Alaskan 2012 Highway in August of 2012.

if any one has any leads or has one they'd be willing to sell/part with, drop me a line!
Thanks

I know a guy that has the larger shelters. He may have the smaller also. He's in the North east Pa area.

Very nice, looks like you have a power inverter in there as well? And did you make those rear landing legs for the trailer? I have been looking for something to make the legs out to stabilize my trailer when its not attached to the truck.

My M101A1 came with a rear adjustable jack leg to support the rear when the trailer was not hitched to the truck.

Those are nice, but a too pricey for me, govliquidation.com has the s250 style shelters with equipment for $150-$210, problem is they are out in California.

Yes, that is a 12 - 240v inverter. The battery is kept charged by a 180w solar module on the roof of the trailer
The trailer is structurely the way I received it so I presume that all Canadian trailers are like that?

You might need to look for S140/S144/S152 series shelters; these are the ones that I've run across as being designed to fit the M37 -

Hi Carl,
I've seen a couple that might be the ticket in a little rinky-dink business in Idaho Falls. I'll see about the particulars the next trip I make up there (probably within the next 60 days). I don't know the name of the business. I'll get some pictures for you too.
