New Wire Harness

Post by T. Highway »

The UPS person made my day when they delivered my new wiring harness.

I also had a pair of headlamp bulbs sent to me from John @ MWM after I saw Warrens truck pictures.

Thanks guys, I had to have the Amber bulbs after I saw the pictures of WarrenD's truck but I'm not sure how this will be received by our local PD but I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

This is the Vintage Wiring of Maine kit, I ordered it back in December and it finally came in. I had Joe customize the harness to include a pigtail for a future electric fuel pump, back by the tank and add turn signals. I'm very impressed with the quality of the work he does.

I unpacked the rear harness and was ready to start installation when I figured out that I had failed to sandblast, paint and vinyl dip the first two harness straps. I did get the gas tank remounted loosely and got the harness were it needed to be inside the right frame rail.
