Just thought I would say hello, I am a new M37 owner in CT. I bought it after it was sitting for a while, "ran when parked". I trailered it home, and have gotten it started. I think I have to go through the entire fuel system, tank to carburetor. I have the top of the carburetor off. There was a small piston like device with a tapered needle on it that was stuck, but now moves up and down. There is what looks like an accelerator pump on the top cover, but it doesn't appear to move up or down at all. Well, I am hoping for some more warm weather to do some driveway wrenching. Hal in CT.

Looks good, let the fun begin. I live in Norwalk, CT what town are you in.
Re: New M37 owner in CT
Canton. The former owner said the truck came from a municiple water department, and she bought it from them. Possibly I am only the third owner?? I have a spare carburetor for it that looks unused, it has safety wire on all the screws, with little lead seals with the flaming bomb symbol. It is dusty from sitting around. With an exterior cleanup, think it would be usable? I am sure it has not been used since it was sealed up. H.

Re: New M37 owner in CT
I am in Canton, CT. I took a 24V electric fuel pump and pressure regulator off of a Korean War generator that I have, and installed them on the M37. That, combined with the new GI rebuilt carb, and an external fuel tank, and it fired right up, and we went for several laps around the property. Now I really have to clean and renew the gas tank, fuel lines and fuel pump. The stock fuel pump started putting out a slow stream of fuel, and it looked like thin ice tea. Anyway, I took some video of the truck. Hal
