NEW SOFT TOP

Post by 8543bob »

Good morning,
I just ordered a new soft top for my M. Ordere WEBE WEBBING. I orderd from them because I saw a pic of an M on this site with a really nice fitting top, I inquired about the maker and was told WEBE WEBBING. The top is going to be made from a SUNBRELLA material, called seatrack?? it has a vinyl lining that keeps it pretty water resistant. The people I am dealing with at WEBE are great, custom features not a problem. I will attempt to post pics before and after when I get the top. Y'ALL HAVE A GREAT CHRISTMAS. BOB

Bob,

Can't wait to see the pictures of the new top. What was the quoted lead time?

Happy Holidays

Great Idea!
SUNBRELLA/Seatrack, the SUNBRELLA I have heard of, but the Seatrack is not a familar one? My top came from WEE-BEE, it was a breeze to install.

All the canvas for my M151A1 came from WeeBee. They do good work. When I get some more money up ( ) I'll order some more stuff from them. I've used New-Life & Beachwood in the past and both did good work but Beachwood seems to only do WWII MVs (I know, they do M but it seems only on an as needed basis) and NLR, I can't rmember what the issue was but it wasn't major & I'd use them again.

GOOD MORNING,
No lead time given, I sent them a check and await the outcome. I think I saw a pic of your M, Bruce. and you told me about Weebe. I liked what I saw. I got a price from a local marine canvas shop in my area and they were $300 more than Webee. My M is not done in the military mode, so I opted for a tan color top. Hope I can get the pics on when complete.
