SORRY I HAVE BEEN AWAY FROM THE FORUM FOR A FEW WEEKS NOW. I AM BACK IN GREECE. MY PARENTS WHO ARE IN THE GOLDEN YEARS ARE NOT DOING VERY WELL, SO I DROPPED EVERYTHING I HAD BACK IN THE STATES AND CAME HERE FOR THEM. THAT ALSO MEANS THAT I AM REUNITED WITH MY M37 ONCE AGAIN

. FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT REMEMBER, LAST SUMMER I HAD BLOWN ITS HEADGASCKET 2 DAYS BEFORE I WAS FLYING BACK TO THE STATES. AS A FAST PREPARING BEFORE LEAVING BACK THEN, I DRAINED THE COOLANT AND RUN THE ENGINE FOR 10 MINUTES TO SOMEWHAT DRY THE LEAKING CYLINDER (THE GASKET WENT FROM WATER TO COMBUSTION CHAMBER. NO OIL CONTAMINATION WITH WATER OR OIL IN THE CHAMBER) SO NOW, I UNCOVERED THE TRUCK, AND HIT THE MAIN SWITCH. I GOT A READING ON THE DASH, AND AS I HIT THE STARTER, THE ENGINE TURNED AND IT ALMOST FIRED UP!!!! SO NOW A HEAD REMOVAL AND PLANING IS IN ORDER AND NEW GASKET IN PLACE. I INTENTED TO SWITCH TO A V8, BUT IT WILL NOT BE HAPPENING YET. I THINK IT WILL BE CROSSING ITS 50TH ANNIVERSARY WITH ITS OWN "GUTS"

FIRST I HAVE TO DO AN ELECTROLYSIS TO THE GAS TANK AND SEAL IT WITH AUTOMOTIVE PRIMER AS I HAD DONE WITH MY BIKE. THIS WILL TAKE CARE OF THE RUST PARTICLES THAT MAKE IT TO THE FUEL FILTER. WILL BE POSTING PICTURES AND PERHAPS VIDEOS OF THE PROCCESS, SINCE I DRAGED MY SELF TO DATE AND GOT ME A DIGITAL CAMERA LOL.
