Sorry to butt in but does anyone know if you can still get these heater kits?

Cheers

As far as I know they are long gone..I have seen some kits that are "piece-mealed" together..but as far as finding the wood crate with the sealed boxes and windshield diffuser intact,,well, good luck. IF one of the companies has one expect to trade your first-born.. The link above shows you everything in the crate in it's original packing....eye candy for the purists

Great link, my truck has the heater already installed, but it's good to have part numbers and info in the event of repairs.

Rick,

I only saw the arctic powerplant heater kits for the engine and batteries on the MWM site.

Interesting, I will take some pics of the heater I have. Its a Southwind gas fired heater that goes on the left fender. It does not look anything like the ones shown. I also have the instruction manual for the M-37 that goes along with it. Its a pretty big unit. I hope to get it installed over the winter and then I can wear my bermuda shorts while driving it in janurary.

The TB listed was for the Hot water Heater Kit. Your Gas Fired Heater Kit has it's own TB and is also a common unit. It pays to do a pressure decay check on those gas fired heaters periodically. Also you should use a Carbon Monoxide warning card or detector in the cab.
