Need a measurement, please...

Post by Cal_Gary »

Hi Gang,
I need to know the distance between the two well-nuts that mount on the passenger bed side bracket for the deep water fording exhaust. The top well-nut has been ripped out of mine and I am in process of repair, intending to weld the nut to the patch panel, then welding the panel in. Easier this way than patching it first then trying to tack in the well nut from such a confined space....
Thanks in advance,
Gary

Thanks Carter! Is that "center to center" (of each well-nut)?

Didn't remove bolts from well-nuts, just measured center to center of each bolt head and it was 3"

Gary, It looks like the paint stripper is working rather well.

Yep, it takes a thick coat of gel to really eat it up-that's the Kleen-Strip brand for anyone who may have wondered.
