Often, when I have a question, I will first use the search feature. It never seems to give me much of a return. I had a question relating to the weatherstrip that wraps around 3 sides of the windshield frames, and did a search for Windshield weatherstrip" It returned 2 hits. I broadened it out and just entered "Weatherstrip" and got a whopping 4 hits. I know that weatherstripping has been mentioned way more than 4 times, so what am I doing wrong?
Thanks,
Tim

Re: search question
I agree Tim, I find it hard to search for anything on this forum.
I would like to see a photo section, in addition to the gallery, with everything that users have uploaded. It would be great for reference.
I guess it would be too difficult have a list of posts in order of truck sections, i.e. engine, body, trans, wheels, paint etc etc ?
I think it would save a lot of users asking the same old questions time after time !!
Cheers

Re: search question
Actually Stu has a very good idea there. If there were a requirement to enter the basic 2 or even 4 digit system code from the SNL's in the topic title block it would give you the common denominator for the search system.
IE a post title about a rear axle seal issue could read"
11 Rear axle seal leaks
or
1102 Rear axle seal leaks
Then using the 11 or 1102 in the search function will yield all such titles.
The forum could use a quick access drop down list of system codes to make it easy for the poster. Also a separate box could be added to the left or right of the title for the system code with drop down list included.
