Hey TIm,
That would be a great help for Mkcoen as it will take me a few days to get to scannning my originals. Having copies would be great. I wish I could get the originals copied to Adobe Acrobat PDF then I could just post them here for anyone who needs them. I will still scan them again at some point and can send them as compressed attatchments in an email.
But in the meanwhile copies mailed is the best way to go.

Three years ago I bought a complete harness with turn signals from Vintage wiring of Maine. Back then it was $700. Now it is over $1100. When I bought it I felt like I was burning money. Now I feel pretty good.

For my second M37 I will probably build my own harness. The wiring in the truck is not bad so I can try fixing it first, if it traces out good with a meter.

I'm not knocking Vintage Wiring as Joe's quality is superb. But I doubt I can afford to spend that much the next time around.

Fellows, there is a reason why Joe's prices have increased dramatically, the price of copper has gone through the roof, the quakes in Japan didn't help that either. We are feeling that pinch here as well. The new taxes that have almost secretly been imposed a little at a time on small businesses in the US who have employees is also playing a big part. Wondering why the jobs market in the US is in the shape it's in? Do some intense research on what it now cost small businees just to keep the doors open; it won't take you long to see why prices are up and new jobs have not flooded the marketplace.

All of that is true. Like I said, Joe's work is outstanding. But with things driving costs up from every direction, more of us will not be able to afford these sorts of things. A sad state which will eventually take its toll on so many of the small businesses which keep our hobby going.

I'm not sure a regime change will fix it, either.

I think we all understand and appreciate the small business vendor's plight but the current economics has also had a chilling affect on MV owner's incomes as well. When the cost of parts climb and the consumer's income drops or their cost of living increases drastically without any increase in income then the choices like John has to make will happen more often.

As Joe Biden admitted to the media last week all their economic stimulus programs to date have failed and now he believes that raising the dept limit is the answer. Just wait and see where the economy goes if they push that thru!

Oh yeh, just spending your way out of debt with more borrowed cash always works doesn't it? Like someone else mentioned, I'm not sure a party change in 2012 will help the cause much either. I'm hard to convince I guess.

Not sure where your post is aimed but I did not suggest a regime change as the answer. I simply made it clear that the current regime has finally admitted that their version of "Spending your way out of debt" has not worked. And now they think that making the doorway for "Spending your way out of debt" bigger by raising the debt limit will work. And that has already not worked in the past.

The most important trait to look for in any party's new candidate will be a sound financial management background. But more importantly then the next Pres election is the next 3 congressional elections where we need to apply the same criteria to those candidates as well.

yes there is. Brent Mullins jeep parts out of college station, tx bought sids old stock. I was able to get both harnesses for 150 bucks about 6 months ago or so. They are definitely still out there and the quality is great for the money. Yes there are differences between the original and this harness but since im on a budget, it will do the trick.

Thanks for the album link Wes, Reading Sid letter was a bonus. I guess I bought the harness a bit before he figured out some of the kinks?
Thanks Again,
