Where actually is the Frame Number?

I know I have read it some where on here. All I think the post said was "drivers side in front of steering box" Before I take a flapper wheel to the frame, is it on top? On the side? and how far in front of the steering box? My summer job has started and I got the second front fender off today. The rust is so bad the blue wrench got used. What I plan on doing is change out the tub, doors, and add good used fenders, so I will be looking for lots of input (when I'm not fishing) :)

In front of the steering box you will see three holes in the frame. The S/N sits above the first two holes about 1.50" down from the radius of teh frame rail. Hope this pic helps:
