Joe, you are right.
It was the start of big Government.
We (the people) buy the horse, pay for the training, upkeep, and all we get is crap!

PS After the horse is worn out we get the horse. More horse stew anyone?

SO to finish up on the first aid kit here is a before and after pic of mine. I got the dry tranfer set from Rick Larson. It is excellent. I called him and he gave me some help on how to apply it. Took only a few minutes to do. I highly recomend him for stencils or transfers. Thanks RIck.

Re: First Aid Kit
Hi Rick,
I am right behind you on that! By total coincidence, a bunch of years ago I bought the same kit you show from Sportsmans Guide, for a really reasonable price. I bought it to use as a first aid kit, and did, for a bunch of years. Then along comes the M37, and I started thinking, Hmmmm, that old German first aid kit might work there....
I should have my decals on it in a day or so.

Happiness is enjoying what you already have!
Re: First Aid Kit
HI Tim. OH that's great I am sure yours will turn out just as good. I picked up mine at the Papago show in Phoenix last January ,so it's taken me a while to "Git 'R Done" The hard part for me was stripping the old paint off. It was on pretty thick . Can't wait to see a pic of yours .
