Found M-37 W/W FS in Orlando
Today I went and looked at an M-37 that's for sale in Orlando. The seller (Dave) is ASKING $2500 but I think that's VERY negotiable. The truck is supposed to be a 1954 but the data plates have been scrubbed so many times that they only thing I could read was the SN and Contract number. I have added the truck to the registry, it's SN 80031407. There are a couple of pictures in the registry and I have more if anyone wants to see them. I was able to turn the winch by hand but the engage lever is frozen so I didn't check any further. The engine is supposed to be running and appears to be the correct engine, carb, etc. It has been converted to 12 volts and the generator replaced with an alternator and all of the gauges and switches and rear lights have been replaced with civie parts. It's pretty rusty and there are holes in places particularly along the bottom in front of the doors. But the body looks very straight and complete. It even has the (non-wooden) remains of the jump seat and spare tire carrier in the bed. All in all, I think it would make a good project truck for someone that is good at body work. It's located at 1900 N. Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando. Call Dave at (407) 849-0643 if you're interested. It's also listed on Craig's List and there's a couple more pictures there; http://orlando.craigslist.org/cto/2228833360.html
