Shift levers

Post by Derek »

Newbie to this forum and have a DUMB question about the shift lever positions in a 1953 M37 Canadian, the front lever is in high range when positioned nearest the firewall? The second lever is 4x4 when pulled back to the seat and 4x2 nearest the firewall? Is this right? I've only recently got it running and driven it in my driveway and just want to be sure.
Great forum.
Thanks Derek

HI Derek. Welcome to the forum. Both sticks forward is 2 hi . One stick forward and one pulled back toward thes seat is 4 hi and both pulled back is 4 low.
The rear stick is the 4 wheel drive control and the front stick is HI Lo range.
