Looks more like an M37 with an "aftermarket" rear body on it as opposed to a true V41, there are hundreds of variants on the M37 created well after active service and this may be just one of them.....

Quite possible, my friend! I notice that the few pics displaying data plates were taken at a distance that renders them impossible to read. Also not surprisingly, the "tell-all" data plate showing the specific model was not included in the picture display. Makes a fellow want to ask a few pertinent questions of the seller, doesn't it?Monkey Man wrote:Looks more like an M37 with an "aftermarket" rear body on it as opposed to a true V41, there are hundreds of variants on the M37 created well after active service and this may be just one of them.....

Also interesting! '1954" and "B1" on the same truck? I don't bloody think so! Again, data plates were conspicuously absent in the pics and the one shot that revealed the driver's door didn't have the B1 spare mount. You'd think people would know what they have when they put them up for sale, but that doesn't seem to be the case, does it?

Looks like it has the place for a door mount spare tire (check the bolt coming through the door post and the reinforceing bracket) It also has the early style dash lights. Only the serial number will tell the year.

As best I can tell; it's the pump with the glass bowl and no vacuum booster chamber. That is typically found on Dodge and Plymouth cars, and some trucks of the era. It works fine.pwrwagonfire wrote:That truck has the exact same dist cap and after market fuel pump installed as mine does...I know its a lousey picture, but can anybody tell what vehicle that pump was supposted to be on?
