Just been slowly welding on my truck and thought I'd show you some before and after pics of my progress.
Before
After
I have a lot more little things to do like, grinding and some welding on the inside once I get the cab back on the frame. Drilling holes and welding nuts in place for the kick pannel and transmission cover, but it's getting there. Also the floor is not the same diamond plate, but two things. The cost for this diamond plate was much cheeper and local than to get it from one of the vendors and have it shipped, plus this is not a master class restoration that will be correct down to each bolt, but rather a concept vehicle that is for my pleasure and the cab will have a rubber mat on the flooring so in the finished product you wont be able to see the difference anyway.
Thanks for the compliments. Actually it was a lot like putting a puzzle together. Also thank goodness that the left and right sides are basically identical as that help with messurements etc. I have about $100.00 tied up in new steel and welding wire so for my pocketbook it was the right call to make.
