Whoa! Not that shade of green, anyway. Looks like it got attacked by a platoon of leprechauns at some time or other.

My father was a John Dear mechanic so I'm thinking that at one point many years ago he pulled the engine and possibly rebuilt it. Did I mention it runs superb ?

My CDN M152 has a gold 251 engine with an Army rebuild tag attached. It looks like the only coat of paint.
