I was quoting "Larry the Cable Guy" from TV's blue collar comedy tour. My real name is actually Charles.
Good luck with the distributor rebuild. It should be like new when you get it back. As for lockers, some serious off-road guys swear by 'em while others swear at 'em. I wouldn't put 'em on my truck, but that's just my opinion. Your truck is YOUR truck, so you can do anything you want with it. Of course, we'll tell you if what you have in mind is stupid.
Yes charles, I have indeed noticed that tendancy to advise with regard to correctness, or the lack thereof. Remeber what Forest Gump says: "stupid is what stupid does, Sir " But a rare moment of seriousness, isn't constructive critique what this websight is all about? Yes, of course. Thank You all for your help, you too John B...

Good news ! Greatr happenings ! How do you spell HALLELUYA ? Well I got the 52 running. In addition to the replacement distributor John B sent, ( he said the original was serviced by BUBBA ) I also installed the new sparkies he sEnt along too. Turns out this vehicle was sitting for a couple of years. But all is well now. Just have to replace some of those, yes, twelve volt bulbs, and I'm off. THANK YOU EVERYBODY !
