When it is leaking, it needs attention.
When it STOPS leaking, it needs IMMEDIATE attention.
You can trust your mother, but you can't trust your ground.

My Brother learned that one the hard way, His Harley had a leaking transmission and seemed happy when he said it had stopped leaking, he was advised that it needed a new seal and a fill of oil, he wished he had listened when the transmission locked up causing the bike to throw him and do itself about $2K of damage, a $2 seal and $5 of oil would have remedied it well before it happened.
Like you say - Lesson Learned....

GOOD JUDGEMENT COMES WITH EXPERIENCE. EXPERIENCE COMES WITH BAD JUDGEMENT....
LIFE IS SHORT AND ENDS UNEXPECTEDLY. MAKE EVERY MOMENT WORTH REMEMBERING.
