Exhaust System gaskets

Post by churtle »

Gang,

Yep, I'm just full of questions these past two weeks, I should be receiving my new exhaust system for the old girl, tomorrow or Wednesday, but don't recall if it comes with the gaskets, i will need three. I have searched the PIF file on the PW forum, and an old Excel one that I have gotten from another source. And this is what i found so far?

Don't know what the "F" in the part# means, I can only imagine FELPRO? ......Do any of you have a updated part# and source...thanks

Hey Churtle,
It's been a while, but I remember that each gasket I needed, I had to purchase it & I think it was more than three? One for the tip, one before the muffler, one after the muffler, one at the first BIG bend, another at the manifold extension and the final or first one at the exhaust manifold.........how many was that, I lost count?
I do recall they have made a one piece out of the two piece, so that would eliminate one from the count.
You can't go wrong, they used to be a buck a piece?

I have some NOS ones $1.00 each plus shipping. I think the ones you get local will be around $3 ea and not fit perfectly. Autodoc51@aol.com
