Not 100% sure just yet, but looks like we have ordered a nice quality replacement gate for a customer who may not take it. If he decides not to take it, it will be available for sale if you are interested in it. I will let it go for what I have in it.

Customer decided to take the gate after all.

I have a couple of more around, but they will needs lots of TLC to look decent. If you have time and patience to deal with it; they are cheap.

Have you checked with Vintage Power Wagons or Memphis Equipment for a new gate? I know both offer reproductions. I have not used any from Memphis, so I can't speak to quality; I have used some from VPW, the quality and workmanship is superb, a really GOOD reproduction piece.

yea i did 625 shipped for a tailgate thats half of a good parts truck!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think maybe you are just a little out of touch with current reality. You may consider $625 a premium price, and it isn't cheap; but you don't produce good stuff cheap, thus if you get good stuff, you pay for good stuff.

On another note, what are you looking to pay? I have some take off gates that are rather rough, but could be repaired if you have time to invest. I've got some in the $50 price range if that's the kind of item you are seeking.
