Looking for NC M37 part seller in Charlotte NC area.

I am looking for the name, address, and phone number of the NC M37 part seller I think in or about the Charlotte NC area?

He has some trailers of M37 items.

I want to say his name is Sid but I am not sure.

Thanks,

Paddy

AB Linn's place has a Salisbury address, but actually the nearest community to him is Franklin, NC. It isn't far from Landis, NC either. He is situated much like us, in the middle of no where. Are you sure this is who you are looking for, it really isn't near Charlotte, and his stock is not in trailers at all. It's in buildings, unless he has under gone major changes recently.

I wonder if you are thinking of Mecklenburg Equipment?? They are very near Charlotte, right off of I 85 in fact. They don't have a lot of military stock these days though, they deal mainly in civilian truck drive train components now.

Charles,

The problem with old age is memory.

I was thinking it was AB Linn but now I am not sure,

When I visited AB Linn in March he was still selling off all his surplus stuff that he had aquired over the years.
It does not look like he has anything new made up.

There is a guy by the name of Gerald that lives in the Mooresville NC area that has two trailers full of M37 parts. He has advertised some of his parts here on this forum. Mooresville is close to Charlotte. Could this be who you are looking for? I think I can dig up his number........

Ain't much you can tell me about the memory thing, I deal with that daily. I'd almost bet someone reading this thread is wondering why I haven't done something I said I would; well it's because it has slipped my mind.

Anyway, if you haven't paid AB a visit, I highly recommend it; he and Amelia are great folks. Your visit will be a memorable one in 2 ways at least. A good visit with down home country folk and military parts and equipment. Ask Amelia to show you her fully restored pipe organ. It's set up and operational in one end of the building; that section was once AB's restoration shop.

Gerald Olephant is located at Mt. Ulla, NC. He isn't far at all from AB's place and it is new Mooresville. Easy to visit both in a single trip. He post here once in a while, mostly in the swap meet section.

We are just a little over an hours drive south of AB off of highway 52.

I know what you mean. I have concluded that I suffer from a disease called "brain leakage" I keep putting things in my brain and they keep leaking out. At least that is what I think but I can't really remember.

I guess it is OK sice I used to work on radial aircraft engines and the motto was if it isn't leaking oil then add some because it is out. Most M37 leak something here and there so I guess I am in good company.
