I'd like to welcome anyone in the Southern California area to the "Salute to North American Aviation at the Western Museum of Flight" in Torrance on Saturday, 9 October 2010, 10AM til 4PM. We will be saluting both our Grand Marshall, Bob Hoover and the men and women of North American Aviation who kept our country strong and safe by advancing both air and space technology. We will be having static displays of famed North American aircraft, P-51, B-25, T-6, T-28, OV-10 and Navion aircraft and period automobiles.
Here is the event flyer:

Now for the help request... is there anyone local that would be interested in displaying a clean M37 series truck at our event? As ground vehicle coordinator, I've been tasked with gathering period representative (1939 - 1969) classic cars. As NAA was primarily a military contractor, I've talked the powers-that-be into letting me bring in some MV's. Due to space constraints, I'm going with three 1/4tons and 1 or 2 larger vehicles. I'd love to have at least one M37 series truck to show. It can be any model, any service, but I'd like something reasonably clean and stock as it'll be posing along with restored warbirds and classic cars. If you can help, please reply to this post or drop me a PM and I'll get back to you.
Thanx and hope to see you here!
