I do not know where to get the pages for this Truck log book but I can tell you this book is from 1979 or before.

All I remember is a maintenance inspection report paper and a dispatcher paper form being in the book. The maintenance inspection report paper and a dispatcher paper where placed inside pockets in the book.

Are these the pages you are looking for?

Starting in the end of 1979 the book was changed to camouflage look.

We didn't have them in any of the Air Force trucks I drove. All we had was a trip ticket and an accident report form. The trip ticket showed the date/time of departure, odometer reading, destination, date/time of return, odometer reading, and space for annotating any issues requiring maintenance attention. The accident report form stayed in the glove box until needed. The trip ticket stayed in the possession of the vehicle commander until the trip was completed and then turned in to the motor pool (either base or unit level).

To get a copy of the Army Maintenence worksheet go to the following web site.

http://www.g741.org/

From the list select.

Maintenence worksheet Once you open this link you will go to a pdf file called " http://www.g741.org/PDF/DA_2404.pdf ".

This is the Army Maintenence my unit 3/6 Inf, Berlin Brigade carried in their logs books. I was a Motor Sergent during my time in 3/6 Inf, Berlin Brigade.

When I left 3/6 Inf, Berlin Brigade in 1980 I took two of the new camouflage truck log books with me.

We still had a few ratty green ones floating around in the late 80s. The book for my M113 in Germany was green. The new HMMWVs showed up with nice new cammo books. I remember we had the trip ticket/dispatch form that went to a computerized form by the late 80s, DA 2404s, accident report forms, and the front pocket had an index card with the vehicle's information (unit and bumper number), registration number, and driver/POC). Seems I remember some other stuff in there also that was unit SOP to have but I don't remember specifically what.

VTdeucedriver. I never seen a Trip ticket. What did it look like? We always carried Bridge passes in the book when we went on a move.

Sal,

This is a small world.

My truck came from the 42nd !

Truck number B-14, Company B, vehicle 14.

Unit number 42 ( 42nd NG )over 242S (NG 242nd Signal Battalion ).

Did you still have M37 in 1970 to 1976?

We had them in Germany up to 1978.
