gas vent line

Can you buy the armored vent line and make this yourself or do you have to buy it? I only need the last shorter section near the tank. It broke at the fitting while disassembling.

Anyone that makes hydraulic hoses can hook you up! Most heavy equipment shops make their own hoses up, even some Napa stores can make up hose. Or like you are asking buying hose and cutting it to length and installing fittings as you see on race cars with the AN style that you can buy at your local Hot Rod store or order through Jeg’s or Summit Racing parts.

You can purchase the armored steel tubing in various lengths at any NAPA or CarQuest. A very simple fix to your issue.

How about the rubber lines with the 2 female connections at the frame???? I need a couple of them to connect the lines that are mounted on the engine that go to vent the tank and the master cylinder.

You can get them from an MV dealer or ask your local farm tractor or industrial equipment shop where they get their hoses fabricated. That shop will just need to see your old ones or give them the male fittings and the lengths and they'll fix you up.

Been looking for a couple of years, have not seen em. These hoses are crimped fittings and are not rebuildable unlike Aeroquip fittings like racers use.

Chances are your going to need to cut it and reflair it anyways so just get a section long enough. If you have never done it before, its pretty easy but I would recommend trying it a few times on the section that your cutting off as extra lengith.

Here in Wisconsin I have several choices for swaged (Crimped) hose fittings. The heavy truck outfit (Catco) and the Implement/Industrial Hose Shop (Planert Enterprises) in Eau Claire WI. You just need to start looking. Ask your tractor repair shops and heavy truck shops where they have their hoses fabricated.

As for AN/MS/NAS series hose and fitting I have been making those for half a century. Anything over 3/8" hose ID is easier done with hydraulic tooling found in the larger shops.

Thanks for the CarQuest tip, I got my last set of sections from NAPA and I was just there today to order a couple more as I need to finnish a couple of lines. The NAPA guy said that there was not much left in the system, wonder if they are still making it and I should stock up??
