Selling my 1963 M-37B1 truck project; I'd love to have more time to play, but family life & work are taking a priority currently.
The details:
Nice 1963 M-37B1 truck, complete with decent tailgate, and very minimal rust. Front fenders solid, no rot under headlights, cowl solid, minor pinholes. Drivers side door dented. Truck was about 95% complete when I bought it - missing tool box door on bed, no seats. No cuts in floor of bed - this truck escaped being a fire department water truck... truck has troop seats in bed. Good condition fuel tank.
Powertrain: Truck will come with a good-running complete 6.2 diesel engine & Deuce 5-speed transmission combo. I already have the proper bellhousing & adaptor plate from an Eighties-vintage GM truck; you will need to get 6.2 flywheel (have source) & a custom clutch disc (have quote on custom disc from Ft Worth Clutch for @ $100). Have hydraulic CNC slave cylinder for conversion if you want a juice clutch instead of a mechanical linkage. Have a set of HMMWV exhaust manifolds & a pair of aftermarket Chevy motor mounts; you'll need to fab the rest of the mounts & a trans tail mount.
Truck has all lighting equipment on it - still 24volts.
Basically, it's a big Erector set... contact me for details > determined2win@hotmail.com - pictures available
Truck located in Central NC - For $3000 I'll let it go with the 5 mounted Michelin 1100x16 XZL's that are on it in the photo;
they have new tubes & flaps on blasted & painted rims.

She said it's got to go, huh?
Just kidding! Have you checked with Cabell to see if he could finish the swap for you or is it a case of you needing the money for more "practical"* things.
* "practical" = wife-speak for "I need a mink coat!"

Hey Lifer -
No - it doesn't need to go due to wife reasons; she's always been supportive of my hobbies. We've purchased some property & I can always use the money elsewhere. Time (or lack of) is the real issue right now; recently changed companies & working quite a few hours...
And don't forget that I also have 4 children that I enjoy spending time with!
Hope you're doing well, Sir!
