Braden Winch

What type of fluid/gear oil do I put in the winch. Also how far do you fill it up? Close to the top or leave a little space??

I'm assuming you are talking about the LU4 winch on the M37. If that is correct, each end housing holds 1 quart of oil. The correct lubricant is worm gear oil, ISO460 is the proper grade. This product can be found at most any industrial lubricant supplier.
