Rebuilt Braden LU-4 and complete winch kit for sale

Post by James West »

Up for grabs is an LU-4 Braden Winch, rebuilt by Sid Beck a little over a year ago and never installed. New seals, worm gear, you name it. With it is included a VERY solid early style PTO that is a take-off, a NOS PTO shaft including the u-joints, NOS frame extensions, super nice bumper halves, all brackets and even the clevis mounts for the top of the bumper halves. I forgot to mention the upper PTO handle, 2 new PTO gaskets and NOS rubber boot. All you have to supply is the cable, the bolts and the effort to install it. All parts have been sanded, primed and finished with Aervoe OD semi-gloss. I have had good results with Aervoe so I am not scared of it. I hate to part with this but another truck project needs the funds. The price for all of this is $2,000 firm and I will not seperate any of it. That sounds like alot of money but if you try to put together all of this, I assure you that you have at least that much in it. I may be emailed direct at james.west@ncdenr.gov for pictures or to answer any questions that you have.

In response to the question in your signature, James, I believe he was last seen riding off into the sunset somewhere in "The Wild, Wild West." ;)

Still got it and will consider offers from fellow g741.org board friends before it goes to ebay.
