Photo Assistance Needed

Post by Lifer »

Anyone have a good pic of the top glass channel for one of the swing-out windshield halves? I had a spare which I mailed to the guy who bought my truck. He got the cardboard mailing tube, but one end was torn of and the part was missing when he got it. The post office needs to know what to look for. Thanks!

Good Luck! I couldn't get the post office to even LOOK for any of my BIG HP manuals when the shredded the box that 40 of were being shipped in despite the fact that I had titles, pictures and everything else for them. Several of them I was never able to replace.

Thank you for the pics, Carter. They're exactly what I needed. :)

Thanks to you, too, Joe! I really needed your vote of confidence! ;) I knew before I talked to my local postmaster that it was a hopeless case trying to find the part. He confirmed that, but promised to look into it anyway (he's a fellow MV owner).

Hope the PO finds what they lost, they might not but at least you have tried to help them in correcting their screw-up.

Once the PO lost a pioneer rack that I shipped. They could have cared less about it. After about a month it was returned to me. You may have to just wait it out and see.

It will probably be a very long wait, Bill! They delivered the part with the addresses and postage on it (the cardboard mailing tube), so that "lets them off the hook." The part inside did not have any identifying marks/labels on it. I don't know how they managed to lose the part, either. It was wrapped in bubble wrap and I stapled both end plugs in place before taping them securely. What they actually delivered was an empty tube with one end plug still securely stapled and wrapped and the other just flopping in the breeze, held only by a little strip of duct tape. I'm not "accusing" anyone, per se, but somebody had to have gotten "curious" for that to happen.
