Any interest in delco remy 10SI alternator conversion mount?

Post by Chunk »

I'd like to make a production run of these, like the spotlight mounts. This mount bolts onto the 230 flathead in the stock location. It makes the conversion simple. I'm running the same Delco Remy 10SI conversion in my personal truck, and it runs flawlessly. I still have to calculate the cost, but should be pretty close to $55. If anybody is interested, please give me a heads up. I need to make at least 10 to make it worth my while to purchase the raw materials. Thanks,Joe

Nothing wrong with doing a special mounting bracket if you choose to approach it that way, but why? We've been mounting 10SI alternators on the original generator bracket for years, all you need is a 7/16" rod, 4 nuts, and a couple of washers. Works great, super easy, and cheap to do.
