Post by hndrsonj »

Does anybody have a source for the door mounted spare tire carriers and the fuel can holder on the pax side?

Try John at Midwest Military http://www.midwestmil.com/index.html or Memphis Equipment Co. http://www.memphisequipment.com/Parts/default1.asp Memphis had the tire carriers last time I needed parts for one but they aren't inexpensive there  and both places might also have gas can holders.

You aren't likely to find cheap tire carriers. That is a thing that many non-B1 trucks have fitted as add ons.

Keep digging and you might get a deal at a show.

I got mine from vintage powerwagons. But be ready to fork out some money. I put mine on a 1952 and as many know that was not original equipment for mine. But with the addition of a communication shelter its the only way for me.

VPW has a catalog out now? I ordered from them a couple of weeks ago and was told it would be some time yet before they get a new catalog out. I was told the web site catalog was it for now.

Nearly every year then print a new one, usually to reflect a newer (increased) price.

I'll be bidding on it! My M-37 came with all interior parts and I just need what's shown and the spinner. I expect you'll make a tidy profit!
