Rim removal?
I have a problem the right front lug nuts just spin and wont come off. Yes i know they are left handed thread. I am guessing the previous owner stripped them. Any ideas? Can I torch them off and replace easily? If so how much for nuts and studs.

When the nail is really big there is always someone that can find a bigger hammer!

I sold a parts 53 to a kid who wanted to make it a rock crawler and watched him brake a 1/2 drive ratchet trying to loosen the nuts when he was actually tightening them. I took pity on him and brought down the 3/4 and showed him that they were reverse from normal.
(Before all the purists tar and feather me I took all useable parts off he just wanted the frame and axles. I have everthing else.)

I too have spun one over the wrong way - using a 3/4 bar with an 8 foot pipe on the end of that. This was just before my ability to use the internet. I didn't have anyone to tell me that some dumbass engineer though that all the bolts on the left side of the truck needed to be different from normal..
.
Dad laughed like a howler monkey when that lug nut dumped my 200# ass in the driveway like a bag of mashed potato's... I learned a valuable lesson that day - replace all stupid lug nuts and studs with normal ones...
(I had no choice, the left hand studs and nuts where difficult to come by at that time, so they were all replaced with conventional right hander's...)
