Steering column shaft

Post by m-11 »

Okay now that I had to butcher it in order to get the steering wheel off, how much is it going to cost to get a replacement shaft and where do you find one.

Somebody probably has a parts truck with one on it. Just how badly did you butcher it, Sarge??

I'm going to use a different shaft in my truck. So I have the one I took out with the box on it. I think shipping it from OH to MT will be the killer. But it's here if you want it.

You have a bigger problem than just the shaft. It is all intigrated with the worm and sector on the bottom.
It would be best to find the entire steering column rather than just search for a shaft.
