hey i just bougth 4 m37 cannadian as a lot

i will be rebuilding the 1955 i got , it is almost rust free

anyhow i am trying to find info on the truck itself and on the marking and unit it was issued to as i want to do a compete resto and have it original to the last bolt minus the required back ligth and other stuff needed to drive it on the road here

here are the spec on the truck from the dash plate


ord no 2502

mfr ser no 91404481

date del 12-1-55

contract cdlv822

model t 249

inspected by litlle round with star and i s on top and e 22 on bottom

its candian number is 554277

it is described as a

truck, cargo,3/4 ton, 4x4 , m37 cdn

thanks any info can and will help ,oh and i tried registering the serial and it did not work

Welcome, There are a lot of great guys with a lot of tricks and experience here.You will be well served by purchasing all of the US as well as Canadian manuals. I have a CDN M-152 and found both sets helpful in different ways. Brian Asbury in Milton Ontario is your best resource for specific CDN stuff. Is the back of your rear differential painted white? That's to reflect a convoy light specific to Canadian vehicles. Good luck.
