I'm not looking as it only reminds me that I can't afford one right now.
On a different note, glad to see you back!

VT Deuce - I've noticed also. I saw the one in Las Vegas yesterday come up that looks very clean with the .50 in the bed. Ironically, I pulled it up when in was at the LV airport on my way out of town last night otherwise I would've gong to take a look at it.

I saw the one in Vegas too... A friend of mine decided to show me what I'm missing since I got mine...
but I had to point this one picture out to him...

Anyone see the poor prep before painting there... Looks good from afar but not so nice up close... Perhaps I'm picky or a snob... :(

This is one reason why I like projects so much more and not vehicles that are already restored... You never know exactly what your going to get...

I bought my "restored" M37 over the internet in December.
Several nice pictures, looked like a great truck, sounded like all it needed was a full tank of gas, according to the seller.

So far I've spent more on repairs and parts than I paid for the truck. It won't ever be a 'show' truck, I have fond hopes that it will be a 'go' truck, though, sometime in the next 2 or 3 months.

Nice looking means very little. From ten feet, with the right camera angles, you'd be amazed what can be hidden.

I agree Oddjob - I'm stripping my bare bones. If your gonna do it, why not do it right. It's taken me 5 years longer than I thought it would. It ran when I got it and made the mistake of taking every rusty nut, bolt and screw and sheet metal panel apart, but I know it'll be much better when it's all back together. I've had fun and learned a ton about what I missed in High School shop!

I just feel bad for the guy that gets it and find out the vehicle actually needs work...

I'll be doing a frame off too... I figure it's paid its dues... and it never fails there is probably rust in places most people would never figure it would start in at... 8)
