Price on\ possibly looking for Combat Rims?

Post by Mac »

Hey all,
I've always loved the look of combat rims, even if its not 100% proper..
Are these real tough to find? And about what do they run? Anyone have some for sale?

Hi Marcus,
I have a really nice set of 4 combats. They were seperated and put back together. They were painted silver and red but at least they were painted.
I would take $600 for the set. I am driving to Greensboro NC in early May.
Thanks,
Tim

Not proper? The M37 prototypes wore them. I, too, like the look (just "tough" looking). Some day I'll come across a set at the right time and right price.

Tim,
Would you be so kind as to email me a picture or 2 of them? MLCerrone (at) aol.com .

Gary, I didn't realize the prototypes wore them, thats even better as mine is a 1951 (not exactly a prototype) but does feature basically all early M37 characteristics I know of..

Army Motors #125 has a few shots of them with the combat rims-that issue has the entire M37 story.
