How about a pink one...operation petticoat

How about a pink one with a really really tall cab. Sort of operation petticoat.

50 MPH with a rod knock, I wonder how fast it threw that rod 2 or 3 minutes maybe? Lets hope that pink is just some cheap fire dept. red that didn't weather so well.

It seems a shame to purposely blow up a rebuildable engine like that. The goofballs blow it up then try to sell it, priceless!

Kind of reminds me of a snail with those head lights sticking up above their brush guards. Bed is not original and I wonder what they made that windshield out of?

Looks like it had a plow mounted to it at one time, hence the lights mounted up high. Why the goofy windshield though, makes no sense.

Re: head light location, Nick you're probably right. That would make sence. As for the windshield/cab hight, maybe the previous owner liked to wear stove pipe hats? :)

I forget what the M-number is for it, but the Navy had a bunch of the "high hat" models. There was a logical reason for the larger windshield, but I don't remember what that was, either. It would be a much better fit for me than a "standard" M37. (I'm 6' 10" tall.)

Upon re-examination of the pic, though, it looks like the hard top and taller windshield are home made. The Navy models were factory made and had much nicer looking hard tops. None of the "high hats" I ever saw had canvas tops.
